Chapter 6 is a two part chapter, although the first is relatively easy, so there isn't much to worry about. Keep this in mind though, and make sure your characters have enough weapons to last both parts, as you can't do any shopping between the two. Before the chapter, there are a few important things to do. First of all, give Jill and Iron Axe, as with a Steel Axe her attack speed will be reduced, and the Hand Axe (which she probably just about destroyed in the last chapter anyhow) is too valuable at this point to waste on every attack. Aimee's also got a Hand Axe available, which either Nolan or she will probably want by now.
This chapter is fairly simple; you just have to kill off the relatively small amount of enemies. There are a couple things to watch out for however. On turn two, a number of armours will spawn in the top-right corner of the map, and start moving towards you. One of them will be carrying a Hammer, which you should give immediately to Nolan, so that he can kill off basically any armour in one hit, albeit with lowish accuracy.
Some Pegasus Knights will also start spawning on the isolated patches up in the cliffs; these make good kills for Jill, as they're mostly weighed down by heavier weapons, so she can double attack for one round kills with the Iron Axe that you hopefully bought her. Just be careful where you move her, as there are a few Thunder Mages floating around, which can hurt.
The "boss," so to speak, has a killing edge, so use some caution around it, as it can hurt quite a lot if he gets a lucky shot in. Aran's your best bet, as he'll take next to no damage from this enemy. The armours around him can be taken out effortlessly with Nolan's Hammer, assuming you gave him it.
