This chapter is a continuation of the previous, and you won't have a chance to go to the base between the two, so hopefully you'll have brought enough weapons and supplies to last the two. This map is the largest yet, and will require some planning so you can acquire everything you can acquire in this chapter.
For starters, your top priority should be to take out the ballista right to the north of your starting location, as it'll likely target Micaiah or Laura, and it'll hurt. After that, you'll have to divide your forces between the northern front and the western front. To the north, you'll probably want to send Edward, Nolan and Volug, while keeping the remainder to go to the west. On the enemy phase, the group of knights lead by Fiona will switch to your side, and you'll have to protect them, particularly Fiona, as she'll join if you do. While she isn't that great of a unit, the two skills she brings are amazing; Imbue and Savior. You'll also get some bonus experience per knight and prisoner that survives, so try to save as many as possible, though it can be hard to have each and every one survive with the penalties they take for rescuing the prisoners.
Before charging the boss, you'll probably want to try to take out the surrounding units as well as the ballista. If Aran is levelled up, he can take care of the second ballista by absorbing it, otherwise Tauroneo is more than durable enough for the job. There is also a hidden Master Seal near the boss, which will allow you to promote a beorc of level 10 or higher. Make sure you get it, but don't use it on a unit till they reach level 20. One of the knights to the west will also be carrying a Red Gem, so make sure you get that, as you'll probably want the extra money.
The boss himself isn't too hard to deal with; Micaiah can defeat him in one hit with Thani, as with all the previous knight and armoured bosses, or you can have Aran absorb his attacks and defeat him in 2-3 attacks. Lure him out with an unequipped Tauroneo or with Aran, and defeat him with Micaiah or Aran, or one of your other units. Be sure to keep Laura and Micaiah away from him, as both are likely to be defeated in one to two attacks, especially Laura.
